TRIP REFUND POLICY - Trips that include ticketed events will only be refunded if notification is received 7 days in advance, and the spot can be filled. All refunds are made at the discretion of the Department and a $7 administration fee per trip per person will be applied. 

Jelly Belly Factory-Fairfield


Did you know it takes 7-21 days to make a single Jelly Belly jelly bean?  On this sweet adventure you will take a free, self-guided 1/4 mile elevated tour, giving you a bird's eye view of the entire candy-making operation.  Enjoy lots of free samples, browse the Jelly Belly Jelly Bean Art Gallery, and shop the Jelly Belly Candy Store, Chocolate and Fudge Shoppe.  Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch at Fenton's Creamery where you can end the day with a cherry on top with one of their famous handcrafted signature ice cream and fountain treats!

Eleven Roses Historic Ranch Tour & Chuckwagon BBQ

Take a step back in time and enjoy the rich history of life from the 1800s to present day while sampling some of Lake County's award winning wines and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres.  Embark upon a mule drawn wagon tour that features breathtaking wildflowers.  Top this all off with a mouth-watering chuck wagon BBQ and complimentary Lake County wines!  The tours have been aired on Bay Area Backroads, California Heartland, and the BBC.  They have also been featured in VIA Magazine, Sacramento Bee and Fun & Travel, to name a few.

The Abbey of New Clairvaux, Vina, CA


This 580 acre ranch is rich with history that began with Peter Lassen and Leland Stanford and continues with the monastic community, Cistercian Trappist monks, that live in and sustain the ranch today.  We will experience a docent-led tour of the peaceful and serene monastery grounds, visit the new Abbey Church and refinished 800 year-old chapter house that William Randolph Hearst purchased and moved from Spain in the early 1930s.  We will also have time to visit the Abbey Winery.  Afterwards we will stop for lunch at Sierra Nevada Brewery (included in price).

Marine Mammal Center-Sausalito


Nestled in the Marin Headlands in the beautiful Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the Marine Mammal Center is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of marine mammals, covering 600 miles of the California coast.  We will have a docent-led tour of the center, the exhibits and viewing areas.  The tour guide will also provide insights into the work of the Center and share stories about their seal and sea lion patients.  Afterwards we will head into Sausalito for lunch at the Spinnaker, offering spectacular views of the San Francisco city line and bay.
